Opera di Peroni

Just a quicky whilst I recover from Graduation induced hangover and get ready for the day ahead: fancy your chance to attend an outdoor Opera performance tonight?

Along with my obligatory +1 (hello Boyfriend), I shall be attending the Opera di Peroni outdoor Opera extravaganza at MediaCityUK this evening and you should don your penguin suits to join me!

Opera di Peroni sees Peroni premium Italian lager hosting an evening of classic Italian alfresco Opera, with a contemporary twist! Recording artist Kwes and Opera production co. Go Opera, team up to present an evening cocktail of La Traviata, La Boheme and La Rondine.

Just visit http://timeline.operadiperoni.com and find the hidden ‘italian items’ to be in with a chance of attending this evening!

Good luck!

A sanctuary in the south of France

Hello all, I’m back (miss me?) I’ve been holidaying with the family in the south of France, somewhere between Pottiers and La Rochelle Ile de Re *shrugs*

We were miles from civilisation, out of range for mobile signal and very much at peace with our own too-cold-to-fathom swimming pool, fishing lake, 100 acres of meadows, forests, fields and wetlands and a healthy supply of vin blanc.

Adam loved the table tennis…

Me in TM Lewin shirt, DKNY trousers
Adam in Zara shirt and Monkee Genes jeans

Me in Dad’s jacket (I thought it would be blisteringly hot so I didn’t take one!), Selected Homme chinos and Boat shoes from a charity shop!

Failed self-portrait!

Fishing with Mother.

I caught one!

SO DID ADAM!

Like bloggers do.

Eternal Envy for a little boutique in Heaton Moor

I’ve tweeted @MariaTelfs for ages. Years, in fact. Too long, then, considering I’ve never met her or visited her Boutique. I’ve inadvertently become one of those Social Media losers who tweet people who are a twenty minute drive away without thinking about making the trip. For that, I’m sorry but for this post, I’m happy!

Maria runs a boutique in Heaton Moor, just outside of Manchester, called Eternal Envy. The Boutique is a girly treat nestled between Manchester and Stockport stocking well-known accessible brands like Religion, Traffic People and Bolongaro Trevor. The look is somewhere between party girl and casual princess; frilly, girly, naughty, sexy and a lot of fun.

Maria played co-host to a little get together at La Casona spanish restaurant in Heaton Moor. The event, called FFS, featured Fashion (supplied by Eternal Envy), Food (the best Chicken paella I’ve every had) and Sangria (well, I had Champagne, naturally, but FFC doesn’t have the same ring).

SS12 Sale stock was showcased to the sweaty but merry crowd at the La Casona restaurant before drag act Sheila Blige hit the Bingo.

It was also lovely to meet Diane Cook, journalist turned Restauranteur, who used to run The Natter and now has the helm at La Casona.

Anyway, time for some clothes.

Sheila isn’t wearing any Eternal Envy gear, but she looks fabulous anyway.

Eternal Envy’s sale is now on

I can’t wait.
